On Monday, September 14th, I visited the Eastwick set at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California.

Based on the 1960s John Updike novel and popular movie, The Witches of Eastwick, the series stars Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman, as Roxy, Joanna and Kat, three very different women who discover they have supernatural abilities.

Soon after learning of their new skills, a mysterious, wealthy man named Darryl Van Home (Paul Gross) arrives in the quiet seaside village to take over the local newspaper, the Eastwick Gazette. He certainly isn’t all he pretends to be, and in helping them develop their unique powers he might just be opening Pandora’s Box.

Before interviewing the stars of the series the journalists were taken on a tour of the back lot where the town square and all the exterior buildings for Eastwick were erected. It didn’t take long to realize exactly where you were, because every single building has ‘Eastwick’ prominently displayed on it – even the clock. It made you wonder whether the people of this town have trouble remembering where they live!

Tomorrow we will be hearing from Paul Gross as he shares his experiences of working on the show
