The leading couple, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield walked the red carpet separately. There are rumours that they have become romantically involved in real life, as well as on film. However Andrew was full of praise for Emma, when talking to journalists at the event.
The actor grew up in Britain and also commented how it was strange being in Leicester Square with all the this attention.
And on his role, he said: “I want to be Spider-Man but this is as close as I’ll ever get to feeling like I am, unfortunately. I’m very happy to be working towards actually being Spider-Man.”
