During the week the BBC released a second trailer for Doctor Who Series 7 which is due to air this Autumn / Fall.
Now there are more stories in the can we get more of an assortment of clips from the upcoming episodes. This one features heavily on the first story which includes the Daleks. You will note that the main Daleks are the bronze ones that have featured throughout the Nu Who run since 2000’s. The New colourful Daleks (with their middle age spread!) are there as are a selection of other Daleks.
The trailer looks fun and action packed but on the negative side it also looks the same old nu-Who we have seen in the last seven years.
No official released date has been announced save for Fall 2012 but with the London NFT screening in a weeks time and a UK Bank holiday at the end of August we expect a first airing in UK on August 25 with a US air date on the same day.
Five of the 14 episodes of Doctor Who Series 7 will be screened in a run with the sixth on Christmas day. The fifth episode is the one where Amy and Rory leave. The Christmas episode will introduce us to the new companion. The remaining eight episodes are expected in 2013. That year marks the series 50th year!
