Here”a the first poster of Star Trek Into Darkness which has just been released. Gives nothing away, part from it’s title… Unless you know better and would like to share your thoughts with us here?

There is the little tit-bit of the approved synopsis which tells us of an “unstoppable force of terror” back at home. So it the poster of Earth? And we are not sure how, as the synopsis puts it, that the Fleet can be “detonated”??

We are guessing that the artwork is showing Captain Kirk who is for the second time played by Chris Pine. If you click on the top picture your see a bit more detail of the city landscape. Maybe it is just me but the Wheel on the left reminds me of the London Eye and on the other side… is that the London Gherkin? Maybe it is just the artist having fun!

Hold on a moment, he certainly is. The hole in the building is the shape of the Starfleet emblem!

A dramatic start of information on Star Trek Into Darkness for sure.

On the official website you can see the same image as the poster. Although we have the nice touch of some debris falling! You can register your interest and see a list of release dates around the world most of which are the week of May 17, 2013. The official website is
