Dreamworks Pictures have come up with a interesting way to make the advance screenings of Need for Speed even more special involving Director Scott Waugh and stars Scott Mescudi and Aaron Paul.
Last night night stars Aaron Paul, Scott Mescudi, and Director Scott Waugh introduced special advance screenings via live satellite of Need for Speed, in 100 theaters across North America. Aaron Paul and Scott Mescudi spoke to fans directly via Twitter chats from the theater in Burbank, Califrnia.
Director Scott Waugh and stars Aaron Paul and Scott Mescudi had recently returned from a national media tour where they met with fans at screenings across the country in markets including Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, Dallas, and New York.
Dreamworks say that their film Need For Speed “marks an exciting return to the great car culture films of the 1960s and ’70s, when the authenticity of the world brought a new level of intensity to the action on-screen”.
The film centers around Tobey Marshall (Aaron Paul), a blue-collar mechanic who races muscle cars on the side in an unsanctioned street-racing circuit. Struggling to keep his family-owned garage afloat, he reluctantly partners with the wealthy and arrogant ex-NASCAR driver Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper)…
The film opens in theaters March 14, 2014.
