Christopher Nolan is perhaps best known for recent The Dark Knight Batman films and also directed the 2010 Inception.

Matthew McConaughey stars and Michael Caine (also in The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins) makes his fifth appearance in one of Christopher Nolan’s films.

Interstellar follows a group of explorers, piloted by Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), who use a wormhole to to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage. The trailer does not really reveal any more plot details aside from that in this world Earth is in bad shape, and interstellar travel is the only option left to help humanity

Check out this second trailer which was released this week. The trailer seems to us to have similarities in style to last years Man of Steel which Christopher Nolan was a contributor to the script but not director. It also seem like they’re holding back lots of the story which in our minds is just what we like.

Paramount Pictures will release Interstellar in theaters November 2014.

Cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, William Devane, Topher Grace, Wes Bentley, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, Mackenzie Foy, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Elyes Gabel, Leah Cairns, David Oyelowo, Bill Irwin, Timothée Chalamet, David Gyasi and Liam Dickinson.
