We are promised “a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of” and this trailer starts to make this look more interesting rather than just an exercise in computer graphics.

Directer Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof recently answered questions online. In explaining the stance of the movie Directer Brad Bird says he was “inspired by how the future used to be seen in contrast to how it’s seen today”.

And of the cast Brad tells how George was their first choice. “Luckily he accepted. Integrity is a key part of his persona. The fact that he hasn’t done a lof films like this speaks to that. He only gets involved with things he believes in. That’s also true of Frank Walker the character George plays in Tomorrowland.”

Damon Lindelof talked about casting Hugh Laurie as David Nix. “Hugh was, quite literally, the only actor we considered for the part. We needed someone who could: 1. Be very, very smart. 2. Be very, very funny. 3 Go toe to toe with George as to who is the greatest former TV doctor.”
