Thunderbirds Are Go 101 / 102Ring of Fire” involves a powerful seaquake that turns a busy day for International Rescue into a perilous one.

This first story to be shown is a two parter airing together in a hour slot serving as a good introduction to the revamped Gerry Anderson Thunderbird series that first aired back in 1966.

Whenever disaster strikes, International Rescue answers the call! From their hidden island base in the south Pacific, the five Tracy Brothers pilot remarkable, cutting-edge Thunderbird vehicles from the depths of the oceans to the highest reaches of space – all for one purpose: to help others in need.

Thunderbirds Are Go, Series 1 Episode 1: “Ring of Fire

A powerful underwater seaquake turns a busy day for International Rescue into a perilous one.

Gordon’s mission is to rescue a research team trapped in an undersea lab, but in doing so he discovers a chain of seismic destabilisers positioned along the bottom of the ocean floor.

Lady Penelope is contacted to help the Thunderbirds find the person responsible.

Voice cast includes Rosamund Pike, Thomas Sangster, Rasmus Hardiker, David Menkin, Kayvan Novak, David Graham and Angel Coulby.
