In Thunderbirds Are Go 103, titled “Space race“, it is it Alan and his Thunderbird 3 that gets to see the action with Lady Penelope and Parker helping out on the ground.
“Space Race“ is the episode which Reggie Yates did a voice and we saw several sets of in the documentary Reggie & Thunderbirds No Strings Attached.
Each new episode takes up a weekly 30 minute slot and will be shown on both CITV and ITV simultaneously. After the first 13 episodes we will go into repeats which we expect will be just on CITV. Later in the year the remaining episodes of Season 1 will be aired.
Thunderbirds Are Go 103 “Space Race” first airs in the UK on Saturday April 11th 2015.

Alan Tracy is on “space junk” duty. Things take a turn when one of the pieces of debris turns out to be a heat-seeking SAT-MINE that activates and locks onto Thunderbird 3 aka TB3’s heat signature. Alan pulls some incredible moves in order to dodge the mine, but he can only outfly it for so long before exhaustion kicks in.
Meanwhile on Earth, Lady Penelope and Parker implement a plan to sneak into a top-secret storage facility and find the mine’s deactivation code. They succeed, and the mine powers down before TB3 is destroyed.
