Mexico City and the spectacular opening scene of James Bond’s latest movie Spectre are revealed in the latest video feature from the 007 production team.

Director Sam Mendes tells about the City’s ‘Day of the Dead’ festival and some of the other crew tell, and show off, some of amazing costumes created for 1500 extras. Yes that there are really that many in our days of CGI!

Also appearing in the video are Costume Designer Jany Temime, Costume Supervisors Anna Terrazas and Kenny Crouch, Crowd Hair Supervisor Tracey Smith, Line Producer Stacy Perskie and Make-Up Designer Naomi Donne!

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.

While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre.

The 007 production is based at Pinewood Studios, with locations in London, Mexico City, Rome and Tangier and Erfoud, in Morocco. Bond also returns to snow, this time in Sölden, along with other Austrian locations, Obertilliach, and Lake Altaussee.
