There was a special time-travelling visitor outside London’s Royal Albert Hall today to publicise the UK Premiere of Back to the Future Live in Concert at the venue on July 4th 2015.

Check out the pictures of the classic DeLorean DMC-12, the car converted into a time machine by Dr Emmett Brown in the classic film trilogy, during its brief stop outside the front of the Hall.

Owner and fan Stephen was also on hand to chat with us. He told us how he had bought the car for quite a high price. His wife agreed as long as he sold off his pride and joy, an R2D2.

He now makes his living by hiring out the car for publicity events like this! This 30th year of the film he has over 100 booking all over Europe. His website, with lots of background information on the car, can be found here.

This special evening screening of Back to the Future with a live orchestral accompaniment playing Alan Silvestri’s compositions is being held in the magnificent Royal Albert Hall.

Director Robert Zemeckis’s movie was made back in 1985 and was then highest grossing film and became one of the most successful trilogies of all time.
