When was it proposed to you to do a reality series, and how big an adjustment was it for you to approach that kind of show as opposed to what you’ve done on TV in the past?

Kermit the Frog: It’s an interesting thing that’s going on here. The Muppets are doing a late-night chat show with Miss Piggy called ‘Up Late with Miss Piggy.’

Bob (Kushell) and Bill (Prady) came along with this wonderful idea to shoot behind-the- scenes and they are producing that show. Because you get to see things that we wouldn’t normally necessarily want you to see.

Do you worry about certain things being revealed about your life that have not been before?

Kermit the Frog: All the time. My life has played out for years in front of the world.

Miss Piggy, can you tell us about the format of your show and are there any guests that you’ve already booked?

Miss Piggy: For moi’s show, ‘Up Late With Miss Piggy,’ it’s in limited markets right now. I’ve booked a whole bunch of people.

Kermit the Frog: We do have Reese Witherspoon. She jumped at the chance, oddly.

Miss Piggy: I just sit there and talk. I don’t even know who they are sometimes when they’re sitting across from me.

Miss Piggy, you don’t seem to age. What do you do to not look porky on the screen?

Miss Piggy: To not look porky? And you really expect an answer?

Moi is timeless and ageless. I just decided one morning that I wasn’t going to get any older. It was as simple as that. You should try it.

You and Miss Piggy have had an on-again-off-again relationship. Where does that stand now?

Kermit the Frog: Piggy and I have gone our separate ways romantically. I think it’s just coming out in the press now. It can be tough to work with your ex. It can be tough to be the executive producer on your ex’s late-night TV show, especially when your ex is a pig.

Miss Piggy: I’m proud we have broken up. This is going to be great for moi’s stardom. Now everybody is going to want to know, ‘Ooh, who’s Miss Piggy dating? Who is she getting caught snogging with?’

Kermit the Frog: I’m not wondering that.
