Marvel have released this video feature ‘Universes Within’ with director and star telling of the visualisation of Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange deals with parallel dimensions and Benedict Cumberbatch explains how “they have pushed the way they have filmed it”. Also in the video director Scott Derrickson explains that by watching the film on IMAX your find it all “more immersive”!

It is all part of a promotion of tonights global IMAX 3D Sneak Peek of Marvel Studio’s Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange Universes Within Mini Feature


From Marvel Studios comes Doctor Strange, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr Stephen Strange. His life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands.

When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing and hope. He finds it in an unlikely place, a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. Quickly he learns that this is not just a center for healing. It is the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality.

Before long Strange—armed with newly acquired magical powers—is forced to choose. His choice is whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong, with Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. Scott Derrickson is directing with Kevin Feige producing and Scott Derrickson & C Robert Cargill writing the screenplay.
