The Crown is now available to view on Netflix. The series stars Claire Foy as the young Elizabeth and Matt Smith as Prince Philip.

Claire starred as Anne Boleyn in last year’s BBC production of Wolf Hall. Matt Smith is, of course, best known for is role of the Doctor in Doctor Who.

The first season spotlights her life before she becomes Queen, her marriage to , played by Matt Smith, and the beginning of her reign. Many more season are likely to follow.

Those with a new 4K television may like to note that this is available via Netflix in Ultra HD 4K.
