John picks up a collision alert in the mountains of southern New Zealand. A mysterious aerialist in a hot air balloon won’t respond to his calls.
At first they believe it to be Francois Lemaire, but Kayo discovers Lemaire on a yacht recovering from an earlier incident. So who is on the balloon?
Scott reaches the site in Thunderbird 1 and discovers Brandon, a teenage adventure enthusiast and IR superfan. He wants to join international rescue!
They are forced to crash land on a mountain, and Scott uses a gyrostabilized inflatable rescue ball to roll himself and Brandon down safely.
