Unfortunately after hopes that she mights survive her heart problems on the plane Carrie Fisher dies in hospital just hours ago.

As we reported a few days day Carrie had a heat attack fifteen minutes before landing in Los Angeles. The flight was coming from London UK. She was taken care of by medically trained passengers and properly taken to hospital on landing.

She had been in a stable condition but it seems this morning things took a turn for the worse.

Carrie character made an surprise appearance in Rogue One which is currently in cinemas.

We understand she had already completed her filming for her part in next years incoming Star Wars VIII with co-star Mark Hamill. This is therefore likely to be last screen role. The role that made her famous.

Carrie Fisher was 60.

Family Statement

In a statement released on behalf of Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd, spokesman Simon Halls said:


“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8.55 this morning.

“She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”
