Star Trek: Discovery have today confirmed Terry Serpico, Maulik Pancholy and Sam Vartholomeos as the newest cast additions to the series.
From left to right in our composite picture above:-
Terry Serpico will star as Admiral Anderson, a high-ranking official of Starfleet. Serpico’s credits include Army Wives, Rescue Me and Sneaky Pete.
Sam Vartholomeos will star as Ensign Connor, a Junior Officer in Starfleet Academy assigned to the Starship Shenzhou. His credits include The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and The Following.
And finally, Maulik Pancholy will star as Dr Nambue, the Chief Medical Officer of the Starship Shenzhou. Pancholy’s credits include 30 Rock and Weeds.
There is still no word on when the series will first air. Originally in was at the start of this year. It then became May 2017. Now they are waiting until the production crew are truly ready to make the best of the new Star Trek series.

Star Trek is one of the most iconic and influential global television franchises. It will return to television 50 years after it first premiered with Star Trek: Discovery.
The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions. Again embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
The show will premiere on the CBS Television Network. All subsequent episodes available on CBS All Access, the Network’s digital subscription video on demand and live streaming service.
The series will be distributed concurrently by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space channel and OTT service CraveTV.
