What we have is actually a love triangle between medical student Michael (Oscar Isaac), and sophisticated Ana (Charlotte Le Bon), and American journalist Chris (Christian Bale).

Empires fall, love survives.

Brilliant medical student Michael (Oscar Isaac) meets Ana (Charlotte Le Bon). Their shared Armenian heritage sparks an attraction. This then explodes into a romantic rivalry between Michael and Ana’s boyfriend Chris (Christian Bale).

As the Ottoman Empire crumbles into war-torn chaos, their conflicting passions must be deferred. This is right up Chris’s street as he is a famous American photojournalist dedicated to exposing political truth. Together they join forces to get their people to safety and survive themselves.

The film is directed by Academy Award winning filmmaker Terry George from a screenplay by Terry George and Robin Swicord.

Cast includes Oscar Isaac, Christian Bale, Charlotte Le Bon and Angela Sarafyan. The producers are Eric Esrailian, William Horberg, Mike Medavoy and Ralph Winter.
