The Doctor Who Series 10 Christmas Special is currently shooting on location and it appears David Bradley has been spotted!

David played William Hartnell / The First Doctor in An Adventure in Space and Time. That dramatised the start and making of the early years of Doctor Who. This therefore substantiates the rumors going around that he had been booked to reprise his First Doctor role for the Doctor Who Series 10 Christmas Special.

Connected to this we understand the the first scene in last week’s episode 11 was filmed at the start of the Christmas Special recording. That showed the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) falling out of the Tardis about to regenerate. It also seen to show some link with the first Cyberman story back in 1966. Fans linked the snowy setting with the South pole location of that episode.

Also there are reports that the First Doctor’s TARDIS has temporaly been removed from the Cardiff Doctor Who exhibition. The original Police Box used by Hartnell’s and later Doctor’s was a scaled down version. Only in the ‘Nu Who’ run has it increased to the size the real Police boxes where (see twitter picture below showing both).
