Last night on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Daniel Craig confirmed he will be returning as Jame Bond.
He had been doing a series of interviews during the day where he was saying the likes of ‘We will see” or “nothing has been confirmed” but with Stephen Colbert he finally said that he will be returning for his fifth Bond movie. Craig followed Pierce Brosnan as Bond with Casino Royale in 2006. This was followed by Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and most recently Spectre (2015).
After Daniel’s confirmation Stephen Colbert quoted him saying that he would “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than play James Bond again. Daniel admitted that “Instead of saying something with style and grace, I said something really stupid”. He explained that he said that two days after Spectre finished shooting and he was still exhausted.
Daniel Craig did however say that his fifth Bond movie would be his last, “I think this is it. I just want to go out on a high note”.
The 25th official Jame Bond movie has yet to be given a title but has a release marked in for November 2019.
