Thunderbirds Are Go 217 “Attack of the Reptiles” seems to be inspired by one of the classic Thunderbirds episode. In that they used real reptiles along side of the model and string puppets.

The 1966 episode was titled “Attack of the Alligators!. It had a food additive accidentally spilled into the drain system that feeds into the local swamp. That caused animals to substantially increase the size!

This episode is set in a mysterious valley full of strange creatures.
