Bill & Ted Face the Music bring back together Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves to reprise their roles in the cult comedy Sci-Fi two film sequels. It was a silly film that though a slick style and direction achieved that cult status.
The first film Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure in 1989 featured two seemingly dumb teens. In a sort of american version of Doctor Who they traveled through time in a telephone box. The now worldwide known Doctor Who series, which started in 1963, has a Police telephone box. The driving force in this first film was a quest to prepare the ultimate historical school presentation.
In 1991 we had the second wacky film Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. That had evil android doubles of Bill and Ted. They were sent by tyrant from the future to eliminate the originals!
The 2020 film has a visitor from the future warning Bill & Ted that only their previously featured song can bring harmony in the universe!

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S Preston Esq and Theodore “Ted” Logan.
The now middle-aged best friends have yet to fulfil their rock and roll destiny. However when a visitor from the future warns them, that only their song can save life as we know it, they set out on a new adventure. This time they are they will be helped by their daughters.
Along the way there are a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends, Kid Cudi? They are seeking a song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe!

The film is directed by Dean Parisot of Galaxy Quest fame, which sounds like a sound choice. The screenplay by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon who, of course, wrote the original films.
The producers are Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici, and Steve Ponce. And finally the executive producer are Steven Soderbergh, R Scott Reid, John Ryan Jr and John Santilli.
