Showrunner Chris Chibnall is the writer for this key episode.

Jamie Magnus Stone was a new director for this run of episodes. He earlier directed episodes 1201 and 1206. The first was well received but the second often left you with “what just happened?” feeling! (EG Particularly where a character meet his death and no character, even close friend, seemed bothered!)

Jamie is a film director and animator who graduated from the National Film and Television School. Jamie created and directed the Bafta-nominated short Orbit Ever After and other recent work includes Tripped and The Last Dragon Slayer.
