Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has been confirmed by CBS for their pay interactive streaming service. The idea follows huge positive reaction to the appearance of Captain Pike in Star Trek: Discovery.

There have also been a number of Short Treks with the three main characters, Captain Pike, Spock and Number One. This was all set 10 years before the much loved original series of Star Trek. That featured Captain Kirk (Willian Shatner) and Spock (Leonard Nimoy).

CBS will now have 5 Star Trek shows on their paid streaming service.

  • Star Trek: Discovery – Third series confirmed
  • Star Trek: Picard – second season already confirmed
  • Lower Desks – an animated comedy
  • Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
  • Plus the Short Treks

So when can we see it? Unfortunately no date or Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has yet been announced.
