Last Night in Soho, which stars ex-Doctor Who Matt Smith, will now be in theaters on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 in USA and Canada.

Director Edgar Wright tweeted the information with, “Haunted by someone else’s past, but we’ll see you in the future… It’s true, #LastNightInSoho is not quite finished yet due to Covid 19. But, I’m excited for you all to experience it, at a big screen near you, on April 23, 2021.”

It was originally due this September 25th, 2020.  Universal Pictures International, who will release the movie internationally, have yet to finalise the UK and other overseas dates.

  • Terence Stamp (many roles including Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace)
  • Rita Tushingham (1965’s Doctor Zhivago)

Edgar Wright and Penny Dreadful scribe Krysty Wilson-Cairns co-wrote the screenplay. It is produced by Nira Park, Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, and Wright.

Focus Features and Film4 co-financed the film.
