Check out the Mare of Easttown Official Teaser just released by HBO. The mini-series stars Kate Winslet as Mare Sheehan. Here she is a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder.

It will debut on HBO and streaming on HBO Max from Sunday April 18th, 2021.

The seven-part limited series stars Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe -winner Kate Winslet. She has the starring role in HBO’s Mildred Pierce which was screened in 2011. On the production side we have the creator and writer Brad Ingelsby, known for The Way BackCraig Zobel directed all episodes. He also worked on HBO’s The Leftovers.

Kate plays Mare Sheehan who is a small-town Pennsylvania detective. She investigates a local murder but life is crumbling around her. This drama is an exploration into the dark side of a close community. It also aims to be an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define our present.
