The star Kelsey Grammer has long since campaigned for Frasier to be brought back and now he has his wish. Yesterday, on the day of the launch on Paramount+ streaming service, a new series of the comedy series Frasier was confirmed. Good morning, Seattle!
Kelsey first played Dr Frasier Crane in another long running comedy series Cheers. The Seattle based Frasier started back in April 1994 and ran for 11 seasons. It finished with an episode called ‘Goodnight, Seattle’ in May 2004.
Frasier‘s other cast
John Mahoney, who played Frasier’s father Martin, died three years ago. However, we do know all the other cast are keen to reprise their roles. Unsurprisingly, David Hyde Piece, who played brother Dr Niles Crane, has apparently already been asked by the studio. We suspect they all have already been consulted on it.
When will new Frasier air?
The one thing we don’t know for now is when the new series will be made or available to see. As it is Kelsey is not exactly commitment free. He has a project with Alec Baldwin to make this year!
